This site is your home for Learning Support classes 2011-12. Here you will find instructions on how
to access your classes, links to other sites that you may use for your classes, such as Quia &
Proboards. You can also view the general academic calendar,important information on grading,
and technical information. You will be able to view class goals and information, access files, and
download the NLE forms. There is also a page for student achievements. Please let us know your
academic and school achievements and we will post them on the site. It’s a great way to celebrate
your child's accomplishments! We will also post end of year ‘awards’ here.

What are Learning Support classes?
Learning Support classes are group classes that meet once or twice per week for about an hour
(less for twice a week classes) through a program called Adobe Connect. An MODG teacher leads
discussions, presents material, and helps students come to a better understanding of the material.
The student has an opportunity to discuss the material in the class and ask questions. We have
found that not only are the classes a great way to learn class material, but it is also a great
opportunity for the students to get together with other students around the country to discuss
common interests and develop friendships.
We know that the parents are the primary educators of their children. We think that the Learning
Support classes are an excellent tool to assist the parents in the education of their children, and we
know that what we do in the conference classes can only be successful if the parent is actively
involved.
