| Fine Arts are an important part of a classical education, and MODG is delighted to offer our new music and art courses. Currently, we are offering nine classes, from Art Appreciation and Music Theory to Radio Drama and Recorder. Our Grade School art and music classes are based upon the materials and resources Laura Berquist recommends and uses in her syllabi. The High School fine arts classes will prepare students well for further studies in these areas. |

In classes such as Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Music, students may need to
submit written work. We do not want students to suffer as a result of the time delay. Our
teachers therefore will use one of the following two options:
1) Students can mail work to teachers each week, or as work is completed, and include a
self-addressed, stamped envelope for prompt return of work if requested. (Some teachers
will return work by scan.)
2) Students scan work routinely, every week, and teacher grades it and either scans it back or
mails it back quarterly, but sends an e-mail with the score as work is corrected.
