Welcome to the modgclasses.com website! If you are not familiar to Mother of Divine Grace School, you should visit our

However, here is a quick overview of the school:
Mother of Divine Grace School offers parents a Catholic, classical approach to educating their students by
providing them with the necessary information, resources, and support.
The school was founded in 1995 due to the interest aroused by Laura Berquist’s book, Designing Your Own
Classical Curriculum. Thousands of parents read the book and asked for more guidance in educating their
children according to the classical method. Laura Berquist’s response was to develop an independent study
program and to offer distance learning consultation services. As with her book, the goal of the distance learning
program and the consulting services is to help parents to teach their children the tools of learning.
Mother of Divine Grace School understands the challenges of distance education that face parents and students
and thus offers different levels of service. Mother of Divine Grace School wants to meet the needs of each
individual family, and realizes that these needs will vary from family to family. The consultants, teachers, lesson
plans, materials, standardized testing, and assessments provide families with clear educational goals, the
appropriate level of support, as well as the needed structure and flexibility. These services have led to the
successful education of many students, and can help you successfully educate your students too. Located in Ojai,
CA, Mother of Divine Grace School now serves over 3,000 students.
This website is dedicated to provide information about the many classes that we provide through the school to students
and parents. For families enrolled in Mother of Divine Grace School (MODG), we provide conference call classes
throughout the year where students meet with other students and a teacher on the phone to conduct class. We have a
large number of classes that we offer, from Chemistry and Earth Science, to History and Religion courses. We're finishing
up our current school year at this time, but we'll begin the sign up process for the 2010-2011 school year beginning in
June. As we get more information about times and courses we'll post them above for you to view.
Right now we're spreading the word about some summer classes for students and parents as well. If you're interested in
these, you should follow the link to the summer courses web pages.
